Sultan Mediterranean was in San Augustin Street. It was accessible by the residents of Salcedo Village but the location was not very easy to go to, you had to make "sadya" the place. The good part is there are vacant parking spaces right in front of the restaurant.

Braised Lamb Shanks (P550) This was the most expensive item in the menu and it's also my favorite dish! It was cooked for 3 hours. It was super tender ("fell off the bone") and the taste was just right--it was not salty. The buttered rice went very well with it. You can add garlic sauce if you want a sweet twist to it.
Kebab Platter(P530) Shrimps, squid, fish, lamb, pork & chicken. I really liked the squid and the shrimps! Both were very fresh and flavorful. The squid was soft and tender. It was very easy to slice and the texture was different compared to the usual grilled shrimp. I found the lamb salty and the port a bit chewy. The fish was very soft as well. I saw thyme bits sprinkled in the meat.
PIGPANDA rating: 4/5. Great value for money for authentic medierranean food. I really liked the Braised Lamb Shanks and the OX tongue was my favorite (I went back for this!). Minus one point because the acoustics of the place was bad. It was very noisy especially when the placed was packed.
